Set on the hillside of Buderim, a 10-minute drive from Mooloolaba, getting to Headland Golf Club is easy, no matter where you’re coming from. We’re only minutes from the Sunshine Coast motorway, so guests coming south from Brisbane, or north from Gympie or beyond, can get here easily.
For guests who don’t want to drive, a taxi or Uber should only cost around $20 from Mooloolaba where there are plenty of accommodation options.
Despite being so close to the built-up coastal areas of the Sunshine Coast, the greenery and bush of our golf course create a tranquil setting. The ocean is clearly visible from our restaurant and deck, once you’re here you feel as if you’ve left the crowds far behind.

Our executive chef Greg Pollard has worked at some of the most luxurious and prestigious hotels in Australia. Greg and his catering team create stand out dishes that are far superior to the typical fare that’s usually on offer at surf clubs, RSLs and other popular function venues.
You’ll be able to pick and choose your favourites from our menu or we can design a special themed menu to suit your taste.

Our functions management team will organise everything for you and personalise the event to suit your special needs and wishes. After consulting with you by phone, email, or when you visit us at Headland Golf Club, they’ll create a special package to suit your guests and budget.
As part of the management process, we take care of all the planning, set up and other details which make a function truly memorable. That includes theming and audio-visual presentations, which are as commonly requested for private functions such as wedding anniversaries, as they are for business events.
While we can host functions of up to 250 people, we also plan and host more intimate functions for smaller groups. Our first consideration is always our hosts and their guests, so we aim to be as flexible as possible about everything, from the time and date through to the welcome drinks and menu.
