Former professional tennis player Scott Draper today became the first player in the 67-year history of the Sunshine Coast Men’s Open Amateur Championship to win three successive titles.
Draper, from Indooroopilly Golf Club, shot rounds of 68.68 – 136 – an impressive 8 under par for 36 holes, to win by four strokes from Caboolture’s Dane McArdle (70.70 – 140).
