Headland Golf Club Dress Policy
All members and guests are required to observe the following dress guidelines as a matter of courtesy to all and consistency in appearance whilst on Headland Golf Club premises.
On the Golf Course
Golf shirts, dress shorts or slacks/skirts/skorts/golf dresses and appropriate golf shoes (no metal spikes). Shirts may be tucked in or worn outside the waistband.
In the Clubhouse
Neat, smart clothing and footwear is mandatory. After 6:30pm Smart Casual attire is expected. (Rubber thongs not permitted after 6:30pm).
The following are unacceptable:
- Torn, ripped or soiled clothing
- Singlets
- Tracksuits and footy shorts
- Shirts with offensive slogans or images
- Swimwear and beach clothes
- Bare feet and work boots
- Hats in the clubhouse unless for medical or cultural reasons, or special events eg Melbourne Cup.
Note: Our staff are instructed to refuse service if the clothing worn does not meet the foregoing standards or is judged to be untidy or inappropriate.
