On Sunday (15th June) Headland warmed up with a pre-pennant season trial with the annual ‘Kings of the Coast’ challenge against Maroochy River, at Maroochy River.
Headland recorded a 7 1/2 – 4 1/2 victory and stay undefeated! Four players from A Grade, B Grade and Masters teams played handicap match play, and Headland’s best performers were Sam Schefe (B Grade) who won 8&6, Peter Dunn (Masters) 6&5 and Adam Rydwanski (A Grade) 4&3.
